Consumers and retailers in industrialized nations waste 222 million tons of food every year. Husband-and-wife team Jean-Franois Chenier and Bonnie Lee La Madeleine want to change that – and that motivated them to join forces with Japan-based bluejava and develop an iPad publishing platform for weekly shopping lists and menu plans.
