955 Dreams has earned its fourth Apple App of the Week feature in a row with the iPad release of Band of the Day. The iPhone version of Band of the Day, released last year, also earned an App of the Week feature upon its release. Growing to hundreds of thousands of users in just a few months, Band of the Day went on to earn the runner-up title for Apple’s App of the Year roundup in 2011. 955 Dreams previously earned App of the Week features for The History of Jazz and On the Way to Woodstock. Game developer Metaversal Studios is celebrating one week after releasing its newest iPhone/iPod touch game “Updraft Jack”. The free game debuted on January 9th and achieved over 70,000 App Store downloads in its first week, rising to the Top 100 Games and Top 200 Overall Apps.
