Indie game developer studio, UNAgames today announces that its arcade action shooter for iOS devices, Tapsteroids, has been nominated in the “Best Independent Italian Videogame” category of the “Drago d’Oro”, the Italian video game industry award established by AESVI. Tapsteroids, a fast-peaced space action shooter, is a tribute to the classic arcade games in the era of touch. Using high explosives, then a pickaxe, the latest Apple iPad is seen broken up into numerous pieces. iPhone game developer set to double development team size

Leamington Spa based publisher Kwalee was set up by industry veteran David Darling just six months ago. Since then they have been building a team to develop their own technology whilst at the same time writing their first game, which will be coming to market soon. Now the foundations are in place and the company can build by creating multiple teams.
