Boston-based Noise Industries introduces a new version of Manifesto, available now for free for Final Cut Pro X, Motion and After Effects through FxFactory. Manifesto allows users to easily add static and roll/crawl titles to projects without the need to keyframe. Editors can customize the title animation, as well as fonts, colors and more. Manifesto can reference an existing RTF file on disk, allowing editors to utilize an external program for text input and layout. Continue reading

Independent developer Sinisa Drpa today announces Insider 1.1 for Mac OS X Lion, an update to the previous version, now with Spotlight support. Insider helps users to find specific text within documents, as well as files and folders, with unique interface. Combining Spotlight with Unix find and grep search tools, as well as support for regular expressions, it searches any set of directories that match the search criteria.
