Ergonis Software today released KeyCue 6.5, an improved version of the company’s popular keyboard shortcut cheat sheet with several usability and performance enhancements, making lookup of keyboard shortcuts faster and easier than ever. In addition to the new version of the program itself, Ergonis also published extended shortcut descriptions for the popular music notation software Sibelius. The descriptions can be imported in KeyCue 6 to reveal 272 hidden keyboard shortcuts in Sibelius. Continue reading

KeyCue 6.4 has an icon in the menu bar, which is not only a visible indicator of KeyCue’s presence, but also serves as an additional way to invoke KeyCue. Version 6.1 improves support for Keyboard Maestro and is now a universal 32/64-bit binary. In preparation for Mountain Lion’s Gatekeeper, KeyCue has been signed with a Developer ID certificate. Ergonis Software today released KeyCue 5.0, the company’s popular keyboard shortcut cheat sheet. KeyCue is quite a handy tool for learning and remembering keyboard shortcuts. Until now, KeyCue could show only keyboard shortcuts that are visible in a program’s regular menus. KeyCue 5 adds an open interface that enables 3rd party products to use KeyCue for displaying custom keyboard shortcuts, regardless whether the shortcuts are visible in the menu or not.
