Featuring the proprietary RainAware system, this advanced algorithm interprets weather radar readings, determines the motion vector and calculates time of inbound and outbound rain. RainAware LLC today announced that a study confirms that RainAware Weather not only works, but leads the pack & rivals a human forecaster in predicting rain times. The study was performed by Bill Stein, weather blogger for The Minnesota Forecaster, & was carried out on May 1 as thunderstorms bore down on the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
