Mireth Technology updates Shredit X for Lion – Version 6 released

Mireth Technology Corp. today announces ShredIt X 6.0, an update to its simple-to-use file shredder and hard drive cleaner solution for Mac OS X. ShredIt erases data so it can’t be recovered, including advanced shredding features such as government standards compliance and a configurable overwrite pattern. It can be used to erase files, folders, disk free space, previously deleted files, hard drives, external drives, network drives and CD-RWs. Version 6 adds support for Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.
