KeyCue 6.5 teaches Sibelius shortcuts and offers usability enhancements

Ergonis Software today released KeyCue 6.5, an improved version of the company’s popular keyboard shortcut cheat sheet with several usability and performance enhancements, making lookup of keyboard shortcuts faster and easier than ever. In addition to the new version of the program itself, Ergonis also published extended shortcut descriptions for the popular music notation software Sibelius. The descriptions can be imported in KeyCue 6 to reveal 272 hidden keyboard shortcuts in Sibelius. Continue reading

KeyCue 6.4 has an icon in the menu bar, which is not only a visible indicator of KeyCue’s presence, but also serves as an additional way to invoke KeyCue. PopChar X 5.4 is now a universal 32/64-bit application

Ergonis Software has released PopChar X 5.2, an update to their tool for finding and inserting special characters. PopChar X 5.4 is now a universal 32/64-bit binary and requires Mac OS X 10.5.8 or newer to make best use of current system architectures. The new version also sports a new technique for inserting characters and comes with a simpler and faster animation when the PopChar window opens and closes. Whenever the command key is kept pressed for a while, KeyCue displays a table with all keyboard shortcuts available in the currently active application. Version 6.1 improves support for Keyboard Maestro and is now a universal 32/64-bit binary. In preparation for Mountain Lion’s Gatekeeper, KeyCue has been signed with a Developer ID certificate.
