California based zuuka Comics today announced that Don Bluth’s Dragon’s Lair Comics app, including the first issue, are now free in recognition of Father’s Day. In addition, issues No. 2-6 are on sale. Based on the original classic arcade game released in 1983, the Dragon’s Lair Comics app is the first-ever digital version of the comic series. Managing Editor Inc. today announced that the Howard Hughes Medical Institute is now using Adobe Digital Publishing Suite to produce the iPad edition of its quarterly magazine, the HHMI Bulletin. HHMI hired MEI’s design and production team to help create upcoming tablet issues of the magazine as well as to rebuild existing iPad issues using Adobe DPS.
