The CPUG Network has announced the Twelfth Annual San Francisco SuperMeet to take place on Wednesday, January 30, 2012 at the UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center in San Francisco, CA. Doors open at 4:30PM and presentations begin at 7PM. Blue Parabola Launches Free IAP Verification Service for iOS Developers

Blue Parabola has launched Beeblex, a completely free service that allows iOS developers to securely verify in-app purchases against Apple’s server directly from their apps. Beeblex provides developers with a small library that can be integrated within their apps and used to validate IAP receipts to determine their validity. The algorithm used to perform the validation uses asymmetric encryption to protect all data, and is designed to deter man-in-the-middle attacks and certificate spoofing. Continue reading
