The Predator Alert App can actually prevent a crime from happening as opposed to a great program like Amber Alert which is activated after a child is abducted or reported missing. Eve Carson, student body president at UNC, was taken from her home after 3 a.m. by two men who drove her to an ATM machine and then shot her 5 times.
