Opertoon today announces a sale of its science fiction digital comic Upgrade Soul for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch to celebrate the series’ nomination for two Stumptown Comics Awards in the Best Artist and Best Webcomic categories. During the sale the first chapter of the app will be available for free. The sale, which also coincides with the release of Chapter 5, begins immediately and will remain in effect until the close of the Stumptown Comics Fest on Sunday, April 28. Continue reading

Upgrade Soul tells the story of Hank and Molly Nonnar, wealthy science buffs who decide to fund science prodigy Kenton Kallose’s experimental therapy to rejuvenate the human body, with one condition: that they be first in line to receive it.
