Lightwood Games has finally decided that it’s time to stop messing about and actually deliver their next game, Splat the Difference 1.0 for iOS. Imagine throwing jelly at a window to solve a puzzle. Doesn’t that sound like fun? Play this spot the difference game where you mark the differences between two pictures using colored “splats”. There are more than a hundred puzzles already in the game. GameHack winner pledges to keep developing multi-screen iPhone/iPad app

Lightwood Games announced they will continue development of “Plasma Party,” their award-winning entry from the UK’s first GameHack event. Plasma Party extends a simple “lights out” game concept, using multiple iOS devices to spread the gameplay onto several screens. Up to 16 devices can be combined into one playing surface. The two-person team won prizes for “Most Innovative Idea” and “Best Use of Mobile” at the hackathon, which challenged entrants to create an original game in just 24 hours. Continue reading

UK based Lightwood Games today introduces Sudoku Party 1.0, their latest iOS app to put a new spin on a classic puzzle. As well as offering 3 different levels of difficulty for solo play, Sudoku Party introduces a unique online mode. In Party Play, two players work together to solve the same puzzle, but also compete to see who can control the largest number of squares.
