Monkey in the Middle Apps announces the launch of their new educational game, Middle School Science 8th Grade, which is available now from the App Store. While flying a monkey through space and avoiding asteroids, students answer questions on middle school science topics. Joining the existing Middle School Math 7th Grade and Middle School Vocab 7th Grade apps, Middle School Science 8th Grade help fills the “app gap” for junior high students. Continue reading

Gravitas Publications, Inc. and iHomeEducator, Inc. have released Real Science 4 Kids Chemistry Pre-Level 1 to teach atoms, molecules, mixtures, acids, bases, to DNA. Targeted for students K through 3rd grade, this app is a primary level resource with engaging illustrations and student text. Student can swipe, tap, and drill down across building blocks which are incorporated into an end-to-end flowchart which starts with a chapter on atoms and ends with a chapter introducing DNA.
