Nosy Crow Launches Free App Price Experiment

Independent publisher Nosy Crow is pleased to announce plans to experiment with a free price model for one of its apps for the first time. Bizzy Bear Builds a House will be free for one day on Wednesday July 25 for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch on the App Store. This interactive picture book app, recommended for children ages 2 to 4, is the second in a series of apps based on Nosy Crow’s popular Bizzy Bear board book series illustrated by Benji Davies. Fortunate Bear today announces that it has acquired Pagehand, a word processor for the Mac, from Pagehand.com. Fortunate Bear has renamed the application to Pagesmith, and will renew development in addition to providing support for existing Pagehand customers. Pagesmith provides fine grained control over the document’s typography, and uses PDF as its native file format to ensure their fidelity. California based Fortunate Bear, LLC today announced that it has acquired Creastoric, a Mac software company and makers of the Log Leech application.
