AssistiveWare announced today the release of Pictello 1.7, with genuine German and Australian Children’s Text to Speech voices – another industry first. Pictello offers a simple way to create talking photo albums and talking books on an iPad, iPhone and iPod touch in many languages. Stories can be shared with friends, family, teachers, etc. via free Pictello Sharing Server and as PDF files via email or iTunes File Sharing. Intellipad, the app described as, “the write tool for the iPad”, by assistive technology specialist, Jane Farrell, announced the release of Intellipad 2.0. Several major updates greatly enhance its function within mainstream and special needs settings. These include text-to-speech and word prediction in three new languages, including French, Spanish and German, the ability to link keyboards to one another, add images to the keyboard, merge cells vertically, add multiple pages, and many more.
