Seattle, Washington – The PandaWare Company has upgraded its Mac OS X time and expense billing application, TimeCache to version 9.0. This major upgrade reworks the application’s interface, bringing its primary elements all together into a single window. The different components appear on their own tab panels within the window, and can be accessed by clicking any panel or by using menu commands or their keyboard shortcuts. TimeCache 9.0 offers users who want to view different sections in different windows the flexibility to pull different sections into their own windows.
TimeCache 9.0 also offers improvements for mobile users. TimeCache syncs allows data entry from iCal, and version 9.0 makes it easier than ever to add entries to iCal running on Apple mobile devices.
Another area that received attention in this upgrade is invoice payment tracking. Users can now split payments for different projects or matters on the same invoice. TimeCache 9.0 also offers payment reports.
These new features help make this comprehensive time and expense billing program even more complete. TimeCache has support for timed or manual entries, retainer billing, customizable invoices and reports, extensive printing options, and very flexible data entry options allowing users to work in a manner that best suits their work style. It also offers tracking of all a user’s computer activity, it can use the Mac’s Address Book application entries for client contact information, it can produce charts of billable time and expenses, and can import from and export to iCal calendars. Workgroups can benefit from features that allow synchronizing lists of clients, projects and billing categories from text files or IIF files exported from Intuit Quickbooks.
TimeCache 9.0 works with Mac OS X 10.5 or higher. It is available separate in versions that run natively on Intel and PowerPC Macs.
