Shade 3D modeling, animation, rendering and effects is a complete, integrated solution for 3D artists, designers and film makers. Shade 10 Standard Edition includes powerful curved surface and polygon modeling tools and a fast, native global illumination renderer that runs on 32 and 64 bit versions of Mac OS X. It also includes advanced features such as 3D fur and hair. Rendering features rich global illumination with support path tracing, photon mapping, and irradiance cache with Shade GRID network rendering, multi-pass rendering for advanced compositing in post processing and also Toon Rendering.
Shade 10 Standard supports Smith Micro Poser 8 through PoserFusion, COLLADA, and all industry standard formats. With Poser 8 installed, it is possible to import completely animated scenes into Shade. Shade is also a powerful modeling tool for creation of Poser and DAZ Studio content.
All documentation is available within the application. Anyone who participates in the Shade 10 giveaway gets a regular, commercial license, which can be upgraded to future versions of Shade.
