London, England – Independent children’s app publisher Nosy Crow is celebrating the holiday season with a price drop on its award-winning picture book app, The Three Little Pigs. The app, which is available on the App Store for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, will be $1.99 (1.49 in the UK) through January 2nd. The standard price of the app is $5.99 (3.99).
“The Three Little Pigs was Nosy Crow’s very first app in 2011, and we wanted to celebrate the end of the year with a price drop,” says Kate Wilson, Managing Director of Nosy Crow. “Kids and parents tell us how much they love playing with the little pigs, building their houses and outwitting the big bad wolf, and we know it’s a fun app to add to your device this holiday season.”
The Three Little Pigs app from Nosy Crow has won numerous awards, including an Editor’s Choice Award from Children’s Technology Review. It was also named one of the top ten “Best Children’s Books on the iPad” by the New York Times Gadgetwise blog.
The Three Little Pigs was created to take full advantage of the iPad’s technical capabilities. You can tilt to see more of the scene; zoom in to reveal hidden details; tap the characters to make them jump, spin and speak; and even blow into the microphone to blow down the pigs’ houses.
