New York, NY – With more than 200 photography related applications for iPad on the App Store, being simply packed with editing tools is not enough. PhotoPal 2.0, which is now available on the App Store, includes most essential editing tools and photo effects, as well as features amazingly attractive user interface, trouble-free navigation, wide range of customizing options and easy to follow help section. To celebrate the launch of the update, MacPhun (PhotoPal developer) rolls back the price for the app to just $0,99. The cost will go back to the original $3,99 on Monday, December 20th.
Along with basic editing tools, as crop, rotate, resize, gamma, color, light adjustments and other, new PhotoPal 2.0 offers enhanced red-eye removal and spot healing features. With just a tap or two, without any special knowledge, one can get rid of “red eyes” or any unwanted dots on the faces. Basically the app includes a set of professional editing tools, but organized in a way that everyone can take the most of these tools, without having any special editing knowledge.
Updated version was developed by MacPhun LLC, but inspired by regular iPad users, who contributed in the development. User interface features big hand-drawn buttons with a description of tools, effects and all the other options available. Tools (for basic editing and image correction), special effects (vintage, vignettes, postereize, etc) and custom frames are divided into groups to be found easily. Most of the tools and effects can be adjusted with just a swipe of a finger. And in case you are not satisfied with the result there is a multiple redo option, which brings you right back to the original shot. PhotoPal was developed to help users create a picture that is the perfect reflection of themselves, their life and mood – developers from MacPhun say.
Before the release, updated PhotoPal was beta tested by almost 100 frequent iPad users from USA, UK, France, Germany, Russia, Ukraine and other countries. Recommendations from the users were taken into consideration to make the app a perfect photo editing companion on iPad. Along with navigation and performance improvements, following the users’ feedback, MacPhun LLC introduced saving to documents feature and upgraded the sharing options. PhotoPal 2.0 lets users save their pictures to the special documents folder for an easy image transfer between iDevice and computer, as well includes build in sharing via Twitter, Email, Facebook, Flickr.
